Special Announcement: YWCA’s New and improved Crisis Hotline

YWCA Enid made a special announcement during Walk a mile in Her Shoes!

During the pandemic, incidences of domestic violence rose while victims were stuck in their homes with their abusers. We received more and more reports from victims stating they could not call us for help. They feared that being overheard would put their lives – and a safe escape – in further danger. This made us realize just how important it is for our crisis hotline to have text and chat capabilities to effectively reach and serve those who need us.  

YWCA Enid is thrilled to announce the launch of our new and improved Crisis Hotline! You can now reach an advocate 24/7 by calling OR TEXTING 580-234-7644 OR by CHATTING with us on our website (ywcaenid.com – you’ll see a popup on the bottom of the screen) and our Facebook page (@ywcaenid). This addition of the chat and text hotline has been a years-long effort and would not be possible without the financial support of our Women of the Year recipients and Vance Spouses’ Club. Thank you for helping us to make this a reality!
